Mahan EDLD 5352 – Instructional LeadershipTechnology Action Plan<br />Organizational Chart<br />*The Role of the Campus Principal – First and foremost, the principal must be a model of the effective, ethical, and safe integration of technology at the campus level. Teachers must be supported in their efforts to implement 21st century digital tools in the classroom, and the principal is in prime position to construct and manage such a support system among his or her staff. Campus principals can help set realistic and relevant technology integration requirements and deadlines, while providing the necessary resources for teachers as they strive toward fulfilling these requirements. The principal will also be responsible for the successful development and implementation of the campus technology improvement plan, while making sure the technology plan properly aligns with both the campus and district improvement plans.<br />Goal: Technology will be implemented and used to increase the effectiveness of student learning, instructional management, staff development and administration.<br />A. Continued support will be provided in technology to enhance the educational curriculum, instructional management, staff development, and administration.<br />B. Available funds will be used to continue implementation of the technology plan.<br />C. Grants and other funding sources will be pursued to support implementation of the <br />technology plan.<br />D. August 2010 through December 2010 – All certified staff will attend a training session with the Instructional Technology Coach in order to take an initial assessment.<br />2.
