- 8. D is for… Discipline - Social Contract Refer to social contract First verbal warning and discussing appropriate behavior needed. Second 5 minutes off recess Third calling home. Fourth talking to Mr. Barkman.
- 9. E is for… Emergency information Keep up to date Call office to make updates Please inform me if a family pet is ill or dies. Please inform me if a family member is ill. These can affect behavior in the classroom.

- 13. I is for… Important information Make sure your child knows to give me all notes for the office. Independent Reading Chapter books in room or bring one from home to read when work is complete. SSR
- 14. J is for… Job well done Celebrate their successes each night as you review their folder.
- 15. K is for… Kindness Learn about being kind to others and ourselves every day. Bullying program. Shanksville has a zero tolerance policy for bullying.
- 16. L is for… Library Books Students responsible for returning each week. Lunch Free/reduced lunches Come and eat with your child
- 17. M is for… Money Envelope with name on Lunch/milk drink deposit slips Medications Nurse will distribute all medications Cough drops on my desk Bottled water is allowed as long as it is not a toy.
