- 8. What’s a Micro-expression ? A micro-expression is a brief, involuntary facial expression shown on the face of humans when one is trying to conceal an emotion. Unlike regular facial expressions, no one can fake a microexpression. Because when you try and hide your emotions, they just leak out at fifth of a second.
