The extensive historic preservation projects
inspired me to choose Bacon’s Castle. I
wanted to be a part of something important
& help preserve the site for another 350
years. Many jobs in historic preservation
today require numerous skills. At Bacon’s
Castle I acquired skills in communication,
marketing, and historic preservation. I will be

I chose to intern at Bacon' Castle based on the wide
variety of training at the Site. Experiences gained
from my internship include graceful customer

architectural features but also for encapsulating
nearly four centuries of history at one Site! It is a
