What is Unified Service Desk
• In Microsoft Dynamics CRM released Unified
Service Desk Spring 14 Release and Modified on
CRM 2016
• Unified Service Desk is a Desktop Application
which is used to provide a customer care service
application helps to provide Activities (Phone call ,
Email, Task ) and Social Media to support your
customer.
• Unified Service Desk is a Desktop Application that
allow Dynamics CRM interact with 3rd party
Applications
• Unified Service Desk is a Desktop Application
gives agents immediate access to customer data
from CRM and helps guide their actions and along
to way improve customer experience and within a
less time application can be setup and deployed
along with your CRM.
Unified Service Desk can be download from here
https://www.microsoft.com/enus/download/details.aspx?id=50355
And its support On-Premised Version for CRM 2013SP1/ 2015 / 2016.
Unified Service Desk – Installation
• First download Unified Service Desk 2016 Package Deployer and
execute client file and save in your computer.
• It contain following 3 files:
1. CRM2013-6.1.1-USD-PackageDeployer.exe – deploys the server
component
2. UnifiedServiceDesk-amd64.exe – client installer for 64-bit client
machines
3. UnifiedServiceDesk-i386.exe – client installer for 32-bit client machines
• Download the appropriate installer files
Deploy the server components using CRM2013-6.1.1-
USD-PackageDeployer.exe
• Run the installer.
• Check the “Click here to accept
the Microsoft Software License
Terms” and then click on
Continue
• Then extract the installation files
to a local folder
• Click Continue on the Package
Deployer screen
• Provide Dynamics CRM server
link and System Administrator
credentials. Click on Login to
connect.
• If the CRM deployment got
multiple organisations, then
select the organisation to
connect.
• On successful authentication, the
installer asks for the type of
package to be imported. Select a
package and then click on Next.
• Then appears a Ready to
Install screen, click Next to
continue.
• The following screen displays
detailed information about the
selected package and the things
that will be installed on your CRM
instance. Review the information,
and click Next.
• the deployment status of the
selected package.
• After the validation completes
successfully, click Next
• Choose a folder location and
click on
• The next screen displays the
status of the package
deployment.
• The next screen would display
the name & information about
the deployed package.
• Click Finish to complete the
deployment.

What is Unified Service Desk • In Microsoft Dynamics CRM released Unified Service Desk Spring 14 Release and Modified on CRM 2016 • Unified Service Desk is a Desktop Application which is used to provide a customer care service application helps to provide Activities (Phone call , Email, Task ) and Social Media to support your customer. • Unified Service Desk is a Desktop Application that allow Dynamics CRM interact with 3rd party Applications • Unified Service Desk is a Desktop Application gives agents immediate access to customer data from CRM and helps guide their actions and along to way improve customer experience and within a less time application can be setup and deployed along with your CRM.
  • 3. Unified Service Desk can be download from here https://www.microsoft.com/enus/download/details.aspx?id=50355 And its support On-Premised Version for CRM 2013SP1/ 2015 / 2016.
  • 4. Unified Service Desk – Installation
  • 5. • First download Unified Service Desk 2016 Package Deployer and execute client file and save in your computer. • It contain following 3 files: 1. CRM2013-6.1.1-USD-PackageDeployer.exe – deploys the server component 2. UnifiedServiceDesk-amd64.exe – client installer for 64-bit client machines 3. UnifiedServiceDesk-i386.exe – client installer for 32-bit client machines • Download the appropriate installer files
  • 6. Deploy the server components using CRM2013-6.1.1- USD-PackageDeployer.exe • Run the installer. • Check the “Click here to accept the Microsoft Software License Terms” and then click on Continue
  • 7. • Then extract the installation files to a local folder
  • 8. • Click Continue on the Package Deployer screen • Provide Dynamics CRM server link and System Administrator credentials. Click on Login to connect.
  • 9. • If the CRM deployment got multiple organisations, then select the organisation to connect. • On successful authentication, the installer asks for the type of package to be imported. Select a package and then click on Next.
  • 10. • Then appears a Ready to Install screen, click Next to continue.
  • 11. • The following screen displays detailed information about the selected package and the things that will be installed on your CRM instance. Review the information, and click Next.
  • 12. • the deployment status of the selected package. • After the validation completes successfully, click Next
  • 13. • Choose a folder location and click on
  • 14. • The next screen displays the status of the package deployment.
  • 15. • The next screen would display the name & information about the deployed package. • Click Finish to complete the deployment.
