This document contains a mind map and mood board exploring themes related to discovery, the unknown, and the abandoned. The mind map lists feelings, life events, people, inventions, discoveries, creatures, illnesses/treatments, and places related to these themes. The mood board includes four categories - The Unknown, The Abandoned, The Survivor, and The Silhouettes - each containing images representing that theme with differing color schemes. The document discusses techniques used in the mood board images and ideas for the creator's own final piece, such as overlaying landscape images on faces or duplicating and reflecting landscape photographs.

information that is essential for the
preparation of the requesting party's case and
that the other party alone knows or
possesses.

5. Colour Schemes
On the mood board on slide 3,
you can see that the colours of
the images are made up of
either bright colours, like âThe
Survivorâ these are made up of
bright colours, which will stand
out to people. This is an idea
that I liked, but with the colours
being so bright it might be a
overwhelming.
The Abandoned however is
That are basically the same, I quite likedup of idea because itâs nice
made this quite dark, grim
and minimalistic so that everything doesnât get too confusing with
the kind of picture that it is, itâs easy on the eye so that the
audience wonât be put off looking at it. This is something that I will
try and mix in with my final idea.
For âThe Unknownâ mood board, I liked the way that the colours are
quite pastel like, I thought this was a nice change from looking at
something that was black and white or just really bright, so this is
something Iâm certain I will use when taking/creating my final
images unless something better comes along.
When creating my image I will also try and use colours that
compliment each other so that it helps to make the final piece look
more professional
6. Techniques
I liked the image of the old man with a landscape image over his face on slide 3 from
âThe Unknownâ mood board, I thought that this was a really nice idea for my final piece if I
where to mix it with something else because the picture is a discovery in a discovery, its
enabling the audience to discover a new face and a place that may have some sort of
resemblance to the man in the image.
The techniques used to do this I think where really simple if Iâm correct, it looks as if a
high quality image has been taken of the subject and then a not so good quality image
has been pasted on to the top, this is mixing the old with the new which I think is a nice
idea and it also could be discovering a new form of camera quality.
If I where to do images on slide three âThe Silhouetteâ I would take a photograph of
somewhere as the sun starts to set and then open it up on to Photoshop and reflect the
image so that it looks like there is two of the same thing, this is something really quick
and simple to do, though I would prefer to do something a bit more challenging.
