2. Why YouTube?
Youtube has been a hit for our generation.
There are many artists out there, but a lot of
people do not know the talent that is among
our peers. Youtube allows people who have
not been discovered to share their talent with
the worldwide web. We wanted to bring notice
to how Youtube can change a persons life.
3. YouTube was founded by Chad Hurley, Steve Chen
and Jawed Karim.
During the summer of 2006, YouTube was one of
the fastest growing websites on the Web.
On October 9, 2006, it was announced that the
company would be purchased by Google for $1.65
billion in stock.
4. Antoine Dodson
A news report was aired in Huntsville, Alabama featuring Antoine
Dodson. In the report he claims his sister was attacked in her home,
the interview became a huge sensation on YouTube. And was
eventually given even more fame when The Gregory Brothers

(41 second)
Justin Bieber was first discovered off
YouTube unintentionally. He competed
in a singing contest and his family was
unable to attend, so he decided to post
the video to YouTube for their viewing.
He was surprised when he received
thousands of hits, which then turned
into millions. He began to post videos
of him singing, he then was discovered
by a producer that flew Justin to
Atlanta, where Justin randomly met
Usher. Although Usher did not have
time for Justin to that day, he found
him on YouTube and had him back to
Atlanta in no time to hear Justin sing.

artist to have seven
songs from a debut
album chart on the
Billboard Hot 100.
