Francium

[Rn] 7s1
Melting point:300 K
Boiling point: 950 K
Density:1870 kg/m3
discovery:1939
Electronegativity of francium is the
lowest known and is the second least abundant element in nature.Francium is a highly
radioactive alkali metal reactant decays into astatine, radium, and radon.Like all alkali
metals, has only one electron in its valence shell.
Francium was the last chemical element found in nature before being synthesized.
There aren´t commercial applications for francium due to its scarcity and instability. It
has only been used in research, both in the field of biology as the atomic structure.
