2. History of the KKK In 1865 the Klan forms. In 1867 reports of murders and assaults were reported. In 1869 the Klan disbanded. In 1915 the Klan rises again. In 1925 the Klan surges but then declines soon after 1930-2010 The Klan slowly declines throughout the years
3. Diversity Within the Klan The KKK is entirely White, all of the members, are white. There are no known records of any African Americans, Mexicans, Asians, or any other minorities trying to enter the Klan. Every member is Protestant and over 18 years old. Both women and men are allowed to be members of the KKK
4. Membership Within the Klan In 1920 the Klan hit its peak membership with 1.5 Million members. However by 1930 they had declined to 30,000 because of laws outlawing some of their specific actions against civil rights. The Klan slowly declined through the years and by 2008 they had declined to only 6,000

Goals of the KKK 1. The KKK supports the idea of the extinction of blacks, Catholics, and Jews. 2. The Klan believes the only way races can develop their full potential and culture is through racial separation. 3. Wished for whites to be the dominant race in the world. 4. Total take over of politics within America.
