1. Dreams were made reality when year 5/6, of Halton Combined
School, were told they were going to be taken to the amazing 800
year old grand Oxford University, which was the oldest university
still used for its original purposes. They were positively
flabbergasted with the sight that was before their eyes that
afternoon. The lucky class were escorted around the history
packed city, finding more and more of Oxford’s interesting past
around each corner they turned.
Everyone learnt a different vital piece of information and
enjoyed their trip. However, all the pupils each learnt another
thing; the same thing; that Universities are a safe learning
environment for adults and children alike.

2. This trip really made a difference to my veiw of universities.
Although the representitive of the uni came to the school and
gave us lots of information, the trip made it seem real to us (I hope
to go myself!).
