Group members can lend
their expertise to this vital
safety campaign
2. WHY GATE SAFETY WEEK?
• To create awareness around the installation and maintenance of powered
gates drawing attention to specific issues such as poor installation and
maintenance
• To encourage building owners and users to check the operation and
condition of their powered gates – and to report those that aren’t
satisfactory
• To provide a neutral platform for organisations with common interests in
the powered gate industry
• To engage and educate specifiers, merchants, installers, inspectors,
surveyors and users in the correct specification, supply, installation and
operation of powered gates
3. • If you or your company wish to support Gate Safety
Week then you can download the logo elements and
web banners from the Gate Safety Week website and
use them in promotional communications leading up
to Gate Safety Week
• We also hope that you will display the Safety Assured
logo to indicate to customers that you are trained and
qualified to fit and maintain powered gates
