2. LRC Connect
The LRC Connect project was run by Leicester City Council for secondary
school librarians and Learning Resource Centre (LRC) Managers, between May
2012 and November 2012. The project was designed to support and promote
the use of technology to enhance school library services and spaces.
Staff that attended the initial LRC Connect event varied in terms of their skills,
confidence and familiarity with using technology to support learners and to
promote Library Services. These slides were provided to attendees ahead of
the event to give them an opportunity to explore some of the practices and
services that school librarians are taking advantage of.
