1. Picture yourself somewhere by the sea – this could be a place
anywhere in the world, or a place in your imagination.
2. Make notes about everything you see, hear, smell, touch, feel and
think.

• What can you see? Describe the scenery.
• What is the sea like? Describe it – colours, sounds.
• And the sky?
• What are you doing?
• Are there other people / animals around you?
• What is going on?
3. Expand your notes into a text.
