1. With our teeth and with the help of saliva we cut food into small pieces.
Food goes down the oesophagus.
In the stomach food mixes up with liquids and gastric juice.
The food dissolves in the small intestine with juices from the pancreas, liver
and intestine. Then, our body absorbs nutrients from the small intestine that
go to the blood.
Large intestine absorbs water and waste products ( fibre and older cells)
remains there.
Finally waste products are pushed out through the anus.
