Training Developer
Serves as a training specialist responsible for the development and evaluation of collective
training materials. Reviews existing training material and determine its usefulness or need to
develop new materials in compliance with instructional design principles and in accordance with
appropriate regulations. Conducts and /or participates in mission and collective task analysis.
Review doctrine and acquisition documents. Develops Unit Task List (UTLs), Training Support
Packages (TSPs), Full Spectrum Operations (FSO) Mission Essential Task List (METL),
Combined Arms Training Strategies (CATS), and Training Circulars (TC’s). Develops and
implements special projects designed to improve procedures. Responds to specific tasking and
answers internal and external inquiries. Serves as the action officer for special projects. Conducts
periodic briefings.

Qualifications
Over twenty years of experience in the U.S Army with 13 years in managing up to 30
personnel.
Spent 15 years mentoring, counseling, and coaching future leaders.
Granted a secret security clearance by the federal government.
Selected by supervisors to participate in 8 PATRIOT live fire exercises.
Excelled in learning and comprehending new systems and methods.
Proficient in all Microsoft word, power point, and excel platforms.
Self motivated and confident employee.
Promoted 8 times and recognized on numerous occasions for meritorious service,
technical knowledge, and mission accomplishments.
Leadership/Management
Gained extensive experience and knowledge of training techniques, technical procedures,
management, counseling, communication, maintenance, administration and leadership.
Established a demanding training program for personnel that resulted in 100% crew
certification throughout career.
Provided care, security, food, water, and re-supply to over 2500 detainees while
simultaneously maintaining accountability and operational readiness of 82 joint force
coalition members during Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Ensured accountability of 70 personnel and assigned equipment while performing the
duties as advanced party first sergeant.
Trained and certified 48 PATRIOT firing crews and six missile reload crews prior to the
battalions deployment to Iraq.
2. Established company movements plan for over 200 pieces of equipment for air and rail
movement operations.
Served as Equal Opportunity adviser to the commander. Developed and conducted
training that provided an environment free of harassment for a 70 member organization.
Planned, Organized, Rehearsed, and conducted numerous weapon qualification ranges for
a Battalion sized element.
Selected to train and certify new personnel as a Battalion master driver instructor. Taught
light and heavy equipment operations, Fork lift operations, and crane operations.
Trained and certified in heavy equipment operations (Tractor/trailer weighing in access
of 50 tons; 10 ton and above fork lift operator; track Cat; equipment mounted cranes).
Conducted electronics/electrical trouble shooting and repair on the PATRIOT launching
station platform.
Conducted routine maintenance on light and heavy equipment.
Served as equipment safety supervisor for an Air Defense Artillery Battery. Inspected
equipment before and during training exercises, weapon qualification ranges, and rail/air
load operations.
