- Alumni: do we have connections with alumni? there are a lot of them out there--people keep talking about Dominican grads when they go on library visits cd: if only presented during orientation, the emphasis can be lost due to the large quantity of information being absorbed at that time...
- admissions: economy can impact potential students students may choose a competing program for economic or other reasons (different specialization, reputation, etc) Registration: a high or low number of students can impact the number of classes offered large number of students wanting/needing certain classes to move on; course canceled for lack of students faculty: personal issues may impact a professor's ability to teach effectively other responsibilities (other teaching/library jobs) may get in the way. resources: economy can impact students' access to technology.
- Tech competencies that build upon each other as technology develops and is integrated by faculty in the majority of classes. 6. Encourage faculty of other departments to share their expertise, in order to create a more well-rounded informed student. Prepare them for the real world.
