- 13. © Copyright 2014 JLPTBootCamp.com You see some words have difficult kanji, that aren't used often. Like the word for 'noisy' in Japanese: うるさい → 煩い (not commonly used) urusai
- 14. © Copyright 2014 JLPTBootCamp.com So, you are drilled on just the hiragana spelling of the word and not the kanji. You won't be drilled on the reading of the kanji either. うるさい → 煩い (not commonly used) urusai
- 15. © Copyright 2014 JLPTBootCamp.com The other N5 Course tests you on the kana spelling of the word then the kanji spelling of the word. Level 1 Level 2 red → あか red → 赤
