Volunteer Children of the Americas, Lexington, KY Volunteer, Stateside Program, June 2000-Present Team Volunteer, Tiquisate, Guatemala, January 2008 - Worked with children on temporary visas to receive donated surgery - Involved with organizing, errands, office and computer tasks - Performed various tasks to assist a medical team in Guatemala - Gained knowledge of the institutions, problems, and needs of the country Global Health Missions, Panajachel, Guatemala Clinic Volunteer, December 2009 - Assisted volunteer Physicians Assistants in different clinics each day - Operated pharmacy to increase effectiveness and decrease time per patient - Provided photography from clinics to the organization - Overall the team provided general healthcare and vitamins to 1200 patients
