 It is a social contract
between two individuals that
unites their lives legally,
economically and emotionally.
Marriage is an union of two
people and the maintenance
of an oath that they will be
next to each other in good and
bad times.
People marry for many
reasons :
legal, social, emotional,
economic, spiritual, and
religious.
These might include arranged
marriages, family obligations,
the legal establishment of a
nuclear family unit, the legal
protection of children and
public declaration
of commitment.
 Monogamy
One man and one woman are married
only to each other.
Polygamy
An individual have several husbands or
wives simultaneously.
1.Always express your feeling
to your partner - Even in the worst
of times, you should make it a point to
tell your beloved how much you love
him/her.
2.Exhibit mutual respect - To
make a marriage healthy and happy,
both the partners should mutually
respect each other and value each
other's emotions and feelings.
5. Believe in Constructive criticism - You
should recognize each other's positive traits and
criticize the negative traits in a manner that it
doesn't hurt your partner.
6. Compromise - The biggest word in the
marriage dictionary is compromise. Adjustment
with each other is what makes the relationship
healthy.
3. Be trustworthy - Faith, trust
and loyalty plays an important role
to make the marriage happy. Never
lie to your partner or do not
suppress facts from him/her
because that might land you in
trouble later.
4. Be Innovative -Do something
innovative with each other that the
surprise pleases your partner
surprisingly.
• Divorce is the final termination of a marital
union, cancelling the legal duties and
responsibilities of marriage and dissolving
the bonds of matrimony between the parties.
• It is shows that divorce is break up that occur
in family, who is getting the problem that
cannot to be resolved.
• This is one of the solution that is legal.
The most important mistake: the reason we
decided to get married.
 Pressure from our environment: The
pressures from our environment because we have
reached an age close to or more than thirty and we
have not yet married.
 Insecurity: Feelings of insecurity that if we do not
get married with the person we are together we will
not be able to find another person who wants to
marry us.
 Sudden conditions: A sudden pregnancy, which
leaves us with no other options.
Sudden love: A sudden love that ends in
6 months after marriage.
Immaturity: The immaturity of our self
does not help us realize that marriage is a
choice for life and takes a lot of thought and
a lot of effort in order not to make us
unhappy.
Wellness: The economic comfort has
now become a key criterion when
selecting a life partner in today's society.
• Lack of communication
Many married couples think that the
minor problems that occur in their
marriage are not important and
they fail to realize that even the
smallest things can cause conflict
between the two when they are not
able to solve them through
communication.
 Money
Money can be the root of all problems in the
marriage. This is because when one person
makes all of the financial decisions, and the
other person does not agree with the
decisions that he or she is making, then
conflicts can occur between the two of them.
 Children
Children require a lot of support from both
parents, and when only one parent is
working, the amount of support coming in, is
sometimes not enough. This situation
causes many married couples to argue over
financial issues.
 Honesty
Spend some time with her/him to
discuss the topics on the list. Discuss
difficult topics calmly. Be honest with
your partner and try to compromise
each other. Resolving conflict in your
marriage will help to rebuild the bond
of trust.
 Respect
Respect your marriage and work
together as a team. Help each other
with household and with the
upbringing your children.
 Communication
Spend quality time and doing something
the activities that both of your enjoy.
Discuss life as man and wife, reflect on
happy memories and forget about the
hardship that weakened your marriage.
 Love
Strengthen the family bond by make time
to enjoy your spouse with your children.
Example: Be present for the family meal,
participate in a family game, help with
homework, or watch a family movie.
THANK
YOU
