6. Each of You, Lay Something Aside
We Must First Give Ourselves
2 Corinthians 8:3-5 NKJV (3) For I bear
witness that according to their
ability, yes, and beyond their ability, they
were freely willing, (4) imploring us with
much urgency that we would receive the
gift and the fellowship of the ministering
to the saints. (5) And not only as we had
hoped, but they first gave themselves to
the Lord, and then to us by the will of
God.
7. Each of You, Lay Something Aside
We Must First Give Ourselves
Galatians 5:24 NKJV And those who are
Christ's have crucified the flesh with its
passions and desires.
Mark 10:21-22 NKJV Then Jesus, looking at him, loved him, and
said to him, "One thing you lack: Go your way, sell whatever you
have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and
come, take up the cross, and follow Me." (22) But he was sad at this
word, and went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions.
8. Each of You, Lay Something Aside
We Must First Give Ourselves
Mark 10:28-31 NKJV Then Peter began to say to Him, "See, we have
left all and followed You." (29) So Jesus answered and
said, "Assuredly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or
brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands, for
My sake and the gospel's, (30) who shall not receive a hundredfold
now in this time—houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and
children and lands, with persecutions—and in the age to come, eternal
life. (31) But many who are first will be last, and the last first.”

sincerity of your love by the diligence of others. (9) For you know the
grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes
