3. Global crude oil price of Indian Basket rises to US$ 105.50 per bbl on 30.1.2014
The international crude oil price of Indian Basket as computed/published today by Petroleum Planning and
Analysis Cell (PPAC) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas went up to US$ 105.50 per barrel (bbl)
on 30.01.2014. This was higher than the price of US$ 105.26 per bbl on previous trading day of 29.01.2014
In rupee terms also price of Indian Basket resumed rising trend with price reaching Rs 6618.02 per bbl
on 30.01.2014 as compared to Rs 6547.17 per bbl on 29.01.2014. This was due to rise in price in dollar terms
and also because of rupee depreciation. Rupee closed weaker at Rs 62.73 per US$ on 30.01.2014 against Rs
62.20 per US$ on 29.01.2014.

4. Global Crude Oil Price of Indian Basket Marginally Declines to US$ 105.26 per bbl on 29.1.2014, Stronger
Indian Currency Leads to Greater Fall in Rupee Terms
The international crude oil price of Indian Basket as computed/published today by Petroleum Planning and
Analysis Cell (PPAC) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas went down to US$ 105.26 per barrel
(bbl) on 29.01.2014. This was lower than the price of US$ 105.30 per bbl on previous trading day of
28.01.2014
In rupee terms however the fall in oil price of Indian Basket was more pronounced closing at to Rs
6547.17 per bbl on 29.01.2014 as compared to Rs 6632.85 per bbl on 28.01.2014. This was mainly due to
rupee appreciation. Rupee closed stronger at Rs 62.20 per US$ on 29.01.2014 against Rs 62.99 per US$ on
28.01.2014.

5. Global Crude Oil Price of Indian Basket Marginally Declines to US$ 105.30 per bbl on 28.1.2014, Inches
Up in Rupee Terms on Account of Weaker Currency
The international crude oil price of Indian Basket as computed/published today by Petroleum Planning and
Analysis Cell (PPAC) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas went down to US$ 105.30 per barrel
(bbl) on 28.01.2014. This was lower than the price of US$ 105.56 05.83 per bbl on previous trading day of
27.01.2014
In rupee terms, on the contrary also, the crude oil price of Indian Basket increased to Rs 6632.85 per bbl
on 28.01.2014 as compared to Rs 6619.67 per bbl on 27.01.2014. This was due to rupee depreciation which
completely wiped out the gains of fall in price in dollar terms. Rupee closed weaker at Rs 62.99 per US$ on
28.01.2014 against Rs 62.71 per US$ on 27.01.2014.

rupee leads to rise in price in rupee terms
The international crude oil price of Indian Basket as computed/published today by Petroleum Planning and
Analysis Cell (PPAC) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas went down to US$ 105.56 per barrel
(bbl) on 27.01.2014. This was lower than the price of US$ 105.83 per bbl on previous trading day of
24.01.2014
In rupee terms, on the contrary also, the crude oil price of Indian Basket increased to Rs 6619.67 per
bbl on 27.01.2014 as compared to Rs 6580.51 per bbl on 24.01.2014. This was due to rupee depreciation
which completely wiped out the gains of fall in price in dollar terms. Rupee closed weaker at Rs 62.71 per
US$ on 27.01.2014 against Rs 62.18 per US$ on 24.01.2014.

The international crude oil price of Indian Basket as computed/published today by Petroleum Planning
and Analysis Cell (PPAC) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas went down to US$ 105.83 per
barrel (bbl) on 24.01.2014. This was lower than the price of US$ 106.25 per bbl on previous trading day of
23.01.2014
In rupee terms also, the crude oil price of Indian Basket decreased to Rs 6580.51 per bbl on 24.01.2014
as compared to Rs 6586.44 per bbl on 23.01.2014. This was due to price decrease in dollar terms and also
spurred on by rupee depreciation. Rupee closed weaker at Rs 62.18 per US$ on 24.01.2014 against Rs 61.99
per US$ on 23.01.2014.

8. Global Crude Oil Price of Indian Basket Increases to US$ 106.25 per bbl on 23.1.2014
The international crude oil price of Indian Basket as computed/published today by Petroleum Planning and
Analysis Cell (PPAC) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas went up to US$ 106.25 per barrel (bbl)
on 23.01.2014. This was higher than the price of US$ 105.80 per bbl on previous trading day of 22.01.2014
In rupee terms also, the crude oil price of Indian Basket rose to Rs 6586.44 per bbl on 23.01.2014 as
compared to Rs 6551.14 per bbl on 22.01.2014. This was due to price increase in dollar terms and also spurred
on by rupee depreciation. Rupee closed weaker at Rs 61.99 per US$ on 22.01.2014 against Rs 61.92 per US$
on 21.01.2014.

9. Global crude oil price of Indian Basket rises to US$ 105.80 per bbl on 22.1.2014
The international crude oil price of Indian Basket as computed/published today by Petroleum Planning and
Analysis Cell (PPAC) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas increased to US$ 105.80 per barrel
(bbl) on 22.01.2014. This was higher than the price of US$ 105.51 per bbl on previous trading day of
21.01.2014
In rupee terms also, the crude oil price of Indian Basket rose to Rs 6551.14 per bbl on 22.01.2014 as
compared to Rs 6493.09 per bbl on 21.01.2014. This was due to price increase in dollar terms and also spurred
on by rupee depreciation. Rupee closed weaker at Rs 61.92 per US$ on 22.01.2014 against Rs 61.54 per US$
on 21.01.2014.

10. Global crude oil price of Indian Basket rises further close at US$ 105.51 per bbl on 21.1.2014
The international crude oil price of Indian Basket as computed/published today by Petroleum Planning and
Analysis Cell (PPAC) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas continued its rising trend with price
reaching US$ 105.51 per barrel (bbl) on 21.01.2014. This was higher than the price of US$ 104.83 per bbl on
previous trading day of 20.01.2014
In rupee terms also, the crude oil price of Indian Basket increased to Rs 6493.09 per bbl on 21.01.2014
as compared to Rs 6460.67 per bbl on 20.01.2014. This was due to price increase in dollar terms through
rupee appreciation reduced the impact in rupee terms. Rupee closed weaker at Rs 61.54 per US$ on
21.01.2014 against Rs 61.63 per US$ on 20.01.2014.

The international crude oil price of Indian Basket as computed/published today by Petroleum Planning and
Analysis Cell (PPAC) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas increased to US$ 104.83 per barrel
(bbl) on 20.01.2014. This was higher than the price of US$ 104.52 per bbl on previous trading day of
17.01.2014
In rupee terms also, the crude oil price of Indian Basket increased to Rs 6460.67 per bbl on 20.01.2014
as compared to Rs 6412.30 per bbl on 17.01.2014. This was due to price increase in dollar terms and also
because of rupee depreciation. Rupee closed weaker at Rs 61.63 per US$ on 20.01.2014 against Rs 61.35 per
US$ on 17.01.2014.

The international crude oil price of Indian Basket as computed/published today by Petroleum Planning and
Analysis Cell (PPAC) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas marginally increased to
US$ 104.52 per barrel (bbl) on 17.01.2014. This was higher than the price of US$ 104.41 per bbl on previous
trading day of 16.01.2014
In rupee terms however, the crude oil price of Indian Basket declined to Rs 6412.30 per bbl on
17.01.2014 as compared to Rs 6424.35 per bbl on 16.01.2014. This was due to Rupee appreciation which
neutralised the impact of price increase in dollar terms. Rupee closed stronger at Rs 61.35 per US$ on
17.01.2014 against Rs 61.53 per US$ on 16.01.2014.

13. Global crude oil price of Indian Basket increased to US$ 104.41 per barrel (bbl) on 16.01.2014.
Regarding international crude oil price of Indian Basket as computed/published today by PPAC, the price
marginally increased to US$ 104.41 per barrel (bbl) on 16.01.2014. This was higher than the price of
US$ 104.31 per bbl on previous trading day of 15.01.2014
In rupee terms, however, the crude oil price of Indian Basket remained almost unchanged at Rs
6424.35 per bbl on 16.01.2014 as compared to Rs 6424.45 per bbl on 15.01.2014. This was due to rupee
appreciation which negated the impact of price rise is dollar terms. Rupee closed stronger at Rs 61.53 per US$
on 16.01.2014 against Rs 61.59 per US$ on 15.01.2014.

The international crude oil price of Indian Basket as computed/published today by Petroleum Planning and
Analysis Cell (PPAC) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas fell to US$ 104.46 per barrel (bbl) on
14.01.2014. This was lower than the price of US$ 104.93 per bbl on previous trading day of 13.01.2014
In rupee terms also, the crude oil price of Indian Basket declined to Rs 6426.38 per bbl on 14.01.2014 as
compared to Rs 6455.29 per bbl on 13.01.2014. This was due to fall in price in dollar terms and also because of
Rupee appreciation. Rupee closed stronger at Rs 61.52 per US$ on 14.01.2014 against Rs 61.52 per US$ on

Analysis Cell (PPAC) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas went down marginally to US$ 105.11
per barrel (bbl) on 09.01.2014. This was lower than the price of US$ 105.25 per bbl on previous trading day of
08.01.2014
In rupee terms also, the crude oil price of Indian Basket declined to Rs 6535.74 per bbl on 09.01.2014
as compared to Rs 6550.76 per bbl on 08.01.2014. This was due to fall in price in dollar terms and also because
of Rupee appreciation. Rupee closed stronger at Rs 62.18 per US$ on 09.01.2014 against Rs 62.24 per US$ on
08.01.2014.

18. Global crude oil price of Indian Basket back to rising trend; closes at US$ 105.11/bbl on 7.1.2014
The international crude oil price of Indian Basket as computed/published today by Petroleum Planning and
Analysis Cell (PPAC) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas resumed upward movement rising to
US$ 105.11/per barrel (bbl) on 07.01.2014. This was marginally higher than the price of US$ 104.96/bbl on
previous trading day of 06.01.2014
In rupee terms also, the crude oil price of Indian Basket followed suit and increased to Rs 6556.76 per bbl
on 07.01.2014 as compared to Rs 6542.16 /bbl on 06.01.2014. This was due to increase in price in dollar
terms and Rupee depreciation. Rupee closed slightly weaker at Rs 62.38/US$ on 07.01.2014 against Rs
62.33/US$ on 06.01.2014.

(bbl) on 06.01.2014. This was lower than the price of US$ 105.65/bbl on previous trading day of 03.01.2014
In rupee terms also, the crude oil price of Indian Basket continued to decline closing at Rs 6542.16 per
bbl on 06.01.2014 as compared to Rs 6593.62 /bbl on 03.01.2014. This was due to decline in price in dollar
terms and Rupee appreciation. Rupee closed stronger at Rs 62.33/US$ on 06.01.2014 against Rs 62.41/US$ on
03.01.2014.

20. Global crude oil price of Indian Basket decline to US$ 105.65/bbl on 3.1.2014
The international crude oil price of Indian Basket as computed/published today by Petroleum Planning and
Analysis Cell (PPAC) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas pull further to US$ 105.65/per barrel
(bbl) on 03.01.2014. This was lower than the price of US$ 107.87bbl on previous trading day of 02.01.2014
In rupee terms also, the crude oil price of Indian Basket declined to Rs 6593.62 per bbl on 03.01.2014
as compared to Rs 6677.15 /bbl on 02.01.2014. This was due to decline in price in dollar terms with Rupee
depreciation wiping out a part of the gains from fall price in dollar terms. Rupee closed

21. Global crude oil price of Indian Basket decline to US$ 107.87/bbl on 2.1.2014
The international crude oil price of Indian Basket as computed/published today by Petroleum Planning and
Analysis Cell (PPAC) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas went down to US$ 107.87/per barrel
(bbl) on 02.01.2014. This was lower than the price of US$ 108.76/bbl on previous trading day of 01.01.2014
In rupee terms, also the crude oil price of Indian Basket fell to Rs 6677.15 perbbl on 02.01.2014 as
compared to Rs 6735.51 /bbl on 01.01.2014. This was mainly due to fall in price in dollar terms. Rupee
closed at Rs 61.90/US$ on 02.01.2014 against Rs 61.93/US$ on 01.01.2014.

22. Global crude oil price of Indian Basket remains unchanged at US$ 108.76/bbl on 01.01.2014
The international crude oil price of Indian Basket as computed/published today by Petroleum Planning and
Analysis Cell (PPAC) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas remains nattered at US$ 108.76/per
barrel (bbl) on 01.01.2014. The as prevalent price on previous trading day of 31.12.2013.
In rupee terms, though, the crude oil of price Indian Basket went up a fraction to Rs 6735.51 per bbl on
01.01.2014 as compared to Rs 6732.24 /bbl on 31.12.2013. This was due to slight rupee depreciation. Rupee
closed at Rs 61.93/US$ on 01.01.2014 against Rs 61.90/US$ on 31.12.2013.
