France has a varied climate across regions from cool and rainy in the north to warmer and drier along the Mediterranean. It is famous for its wines, cheeses, breads and pastries. Some of France's most iconic landmarks include the Louvre museum, Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe and Notre Dame Cathedral, which attract millions of visitors each year.
