Faith is a natural human act that is needed to live fully and involves a personal relationship with Jesus Christ through commitment to Him and acceptance of truths through His Church. Faith touches the whole person by integrating the mind, will, and heart in personal response to God's revelation as described in scripture and involves elements of friendship with God, requiring a decision to follow Christ as Lord and Savior as part of the Trinitarian relationship between God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit through the people of God.
