2. PAT 3 – Guide
The Return of Parish Finance form is required in addition to your annual accounts.
This is completed automatically as you fill in the template.
You cannot input any information directly onto this tab. Instead, this will populate
based on the following:
• Information completed on the details tab.
• Receipts and Payments entered into the workbook*.
• When the return is completed, this can be either printed directly or, if your
software allows, saved as a .pdf file for easier submission to the Diocese.
* - Please note that when adding a bespoke description in the descriptions tab, you will also need to
ensure you select under which row this will appear on the return.
