1. KOALAS
Koalas are a very typical animal in Australia, there are two tipes of koalas, the
northem and the southem, the northem are bigger than southem ones.
Koalas are soft, their hair is gray with a white part in the chest, they have a flat
nose and a good feet for climbing, they are the only arboreal marsupial without
tail.
Koalas don’t drink water, they take it from eucalyptis wich is also their food, for
this reason the word ‘’koala’’ that comes from aborigenes means ‘’don’t drink’’.
Koalas are very gentle and they don’t move a lot, are only active for about two
hours and they sleep 20 hours a day.
An interesting thing is that koalas make an extremely loud noise and aggressive
when they growl, another curiosity is that the actilares footprints that koalas are
very similar that the human ones.
