Producing a music video is only the first step to success, choosing the right institutions to present it, it the real ticket triumph. Facebook, YouTube, and iTunes were seen as the most profitable.
2. MTV PRODUCTIONS
MTV would be a perfect
institution to present our music
video. They feature a section of
new music videos to ‘artists to
watch.’ Our band, Tame Impala
has a feature on their
website, including interviews
with the band, and sound
streams of their music. It is
therefore clear that MTV has a
vested interest in the band, and
we will have a high chance of
releasing our production work
to them.
3. YOUTUBE
We are also planning on
releasing our music video
on YouTube, as this has
the potential of reaching
out to millions of
people, in a cheap and
simple way. YouTube has
4 billion views each
day, which would give
our video a high chance
of receiving many views
in a short time.
YouTube has 44,000 interactions with Facebook each week, and for that
reason, we have made a Facebook campaign for our production company, VIDO.
YouTube is a perfect platform to introduce our video, and from YouTube we can
use Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and other social media sites for promotion and
presentation.
4. FACEBOOK
As seen in the image along
side, 600million profiles have been
created on Facebook. This massive
basis of connections, will allow us
to access an incredibly large
audience group. We have already
made a Facebook page for our
production company, which can be
found in the link below:

5. ITUNES
Apple has an incredibly
large customer base, and
is a popular music
platform, globally. With
11.7 billion songs, and 100
million movies, if our
video is received, it will be
greatly beneficial to the
views. The music on
iTunes varies from all
genres. As the top
download genre for
iTunes is Rock, it infers
that our music video
would be widely accepted.
