Our work focuses on impacting communities in greatest need. After Katrina, it was apparent we needed to be there.
The community needed support to help recover from impacts of climate change
…So we created the sustainable design competition
The result is a project that, when completed, will address green affordable housing and, with community buy-in, empower/mobilize the community and connect sustainable building resources on regional, national, and global scales
The first single family home is already well into construction…
The completed project will include homes, apartments, and a community center and institute.
Overall, the project will change the attitude and face of the lower ninth ward, acting as a catalyst for the neighborhood, region, and nation on confronting climate change…. Affordable housing, etc.

These are pictures of Animo Justice, one of the new charter high schools just completed in downtown Los Angeles. Global Green worked with LISC, the architects, Green Dot Charter Schools to make the school LEED certified.
