- Fast food chains here in the Philippines are like mushrooms, popping out from different places. They are very popular nowadays because of their mouth-watering food and their fast service. It is part of every family’s bonding time during weekend. Our trip is not complete when we don’t pass by a fast food chain to eat our favorite food. In fact, children nowadays are very familiar with the food that most of the fast food chains are offering. Fast food is affordable and less time consuming but there are certain factors that causes a threat to the Philippine culture. Fast food chains may be beneficial to people but it can also be the reason to the weakening of our culture.
- Culture implies that each society has its own way of life shared by most of its members. The Philippine culture is based on our history where we can clearly see that it is a combination of the cultures of our colonizers.
