B re-shares A’s post to the circle Google will say “This post was originally shared with a limited audience – remember to be thoughtful about who you share it with.” and still let you re-share the post, even to a wider audience Z A X B

5. Facebook Sharing/Privacy Implementation C B A X via B D C,D, Z A X A X via B B has a list with C, D & Z in it. B re-shares A’s post to the list C & D can see the post, but since Z isn’t in A’s original list to whom the post was visible to, Z cannot see the post Z

7. Google+ Sharing/Privacy Implementation C A A X B D X maybe change X, nah I’ll delete A X B A realized he made a mistake anddecides to delete/modify X If A modified X, C, D, Z still sees A’s post in it’s original form If A deleted X, C,D,Z can still see X Z A X B

8. Facebook Sharing/Privacy Implementation C A X D B,C,D X X A realized he made a mistake anddecides to delete/modify X If A modified X so now only B,C can see the post, D will no longer see the post If A deleted X, the post ceases to exist in everyone’s news feed Z
