• Pythagoras was born in Samos, it is
small island off the western coast
of Asia Minor. He was said to have
had a good childhood. Growing up
with two brothers, he was well
educated.
4. He lived from 500-580 before Christ .

development of mathematics and

city of Croton school to teach religion
and philosophy attracted many students
