Project Description
During the course of undertaking an assignment for Racing
Victoria, ISFM was asked to assist Racing Victoria, Country
Racing Victoria and the Mornington Racing Club in develop-
ing a strategic business and facilities masterplan for the
Mornington Racing Club. The study would achieve the fol-
lowing objectives:
â Expansion of the clubâs business and
establishing the club as a commercially
viable entity
â Maximising overall usage
â Improving overall efficiency of opera-
tions on both event and non event days
â Establishing the Club as a major region-
al venue in Victoria
On completion of the study, and the finalisation of the strate-
gy plan, the Mornington Racing Club embarked on a plan to
establish the club as a fully integrated, international standard
centre of excellence. It was envisaged that such a centre
would support and encourage the pursuit of excellence in
personal participation, development and overall achievement
at all levels and aspects of racing.
