 Topology: The Design Or Shape In Which Nodes Are
Connected On A Network.
 Node: Any Computer Or Device That Is Connected To
A Network.
 Packet: A Message That Is Sent Over The Network
From One Computer To Another
 Switch: Central Connection Point Of A Network
 There Are 8 Basic Topologies That Virtually All
Networks Follow.
 Point to Point Topology
 Bus Topology
 Ring Topology
 Star Topology
 There Are 8 Basic Topologies That Virtually All
Networks Follow.
 Mesh Topology
 Tree Topology
 Hybrid Topology
 Daisy chain Topology
 In Point-to-point topology two nodes are directly
connect together.
 In Point-to-point topology two nodes are directly
connect together.
 Like A Marriage. The Man Is Connected Directly
To The Woman
 Only Thing Nodes Are Smarter Because They
Don’t Say “’Till Death Do Us Part”
 Computers Are Strung Together In A Line.
 The Entire Network Is A Single Cable With Each Node
Tapping Into The Cable So As To Listen In On The
Packet Being Sent.

 If One Connection Is Broken…
 The Entire Network Crashes
 Similar To The Ring Topology With An Exception
 The Computers Are Connected In A Loop




 Ring Topology is very orderly
 Performs well under heavy network load
 Doesn’t Require A Central Managing Sys.

 However, A Disconnection with one computer affects
the entire network

 One Disadvantage Though Is That It Uses Quite A Lot
Of Cables To Set Up The Network
 
 
 Tree Topology Are The Computers That Marry And
Give Birth To Little Computers.
 Ok Scratch That
 Tree Topology Is The Order In Which Computers Rule
Over Humans
 Well Not Humans But Its Where Computers Are
Arranged In An Hierarchy.
 Some Computers Are Superior To Some possessing
software that the others don’t

 Hybrid topology is a computer network that uses a
combination of two or more topologies.
 It May Be bus, star, ring, and a ton well a few others.
 Benefits of using a hybrid topology include being able
to combine the best parts of the standard topologies.
 The Down side may be an insane amount of Cables
 Or Like Shad Said “BackBone”
 ONCE AGAIN
 The easiest way to add more computers into a network
is by daisy-chaining
 Not This one.
 This one.
 Its connecting each computer in series to the next.
 If a message is intended for a computer partway down
the line, each system bounces it along in sequence
until it reaches the destination.

  • 11.  Ring Topology is very orderly  Performs well under heavy network load  Doesn’t Require A Central Managing Sys.   

  • 32.  Tree Topology Are The Computers That Marry And Give Birth To Little Computers.  Ok Scratch That
  • 33.  Tree Topology Is The Order In Which Computers Rule Over Humans
  • 34.  Well Not Humans But Its Where Computers Are Arranged In An Hierarchy.  Some Computers Are Superior To Some possessing software that the others don’t $_$ ^_^   ^-^ 
  • 35.  Hybrid topology is a computer network that uses a combination of two or more topologies.  It May Be bus, star, ring, and a ton well a few others.
  • 36.  Benefits of using a hybrid topology include being able to combine the best parts of the standard topologies.  The Down side may be an insane amount of Cables  Or Like Shad Said “BackBone”
  • 37.  ONCE AGAIN  The easiest way to add more computers into a network is by daisy-chaining
  • 38.  Not This one.
  • 40.  Its connecting each computer in series to the next.  If a message is intended for a computer partway down the line, each system bounces it along in sequence until it reaches the destination.
  • 41.  Topology: The Design Or Shape In Which Nodes Are Connected On A Network.  There Are 8 Basic Topologies That Virtually All Networks Follow.
