4. We MUST do a better job integrating technology into our Teaching and Learning Start at the PLC “teams” level Begin collaborating within your team to construct quality lessons using technology Get everyone on board!!!
5. Educator Preparation and Development EHS has made gains in this area A gain of 2 points was made from the 2007-08 to the 2008-09 school year We must continue to take technology professional development opportunities seriously.
6. Leadership, Administration, and Instructional Support EHS has made consistent improvement in this area. We must continue to make use of our Technology Instructional Specialist
7. Infrastructure for Technology EHS has improved enough in this area to be classified as “Advanced Technology” There has been a 3 point gain in this area in the last three years
8. Conclusions The chart showed my campus’ greatest weakness as Teaching and Learning. I agree with this assessment because I know that as a campus, everyone is not trying to implement technology into their teaching.
9. The Challenge! Many technological devices are sitting there being unused. The CHALLENGE- Commit to using technology once in each unit. Then try to increase that to twice a unit Then increase your use to once a week
