Question 1: In what ways does your media
product use, develop or challenge forms or
   conventions of real media products?
This was our final produced
magazine double page spread. After
much debate we decided that the
best magazine it could be published
in is ‘Radio Times’. This was because
we believed our target audience of
parents who we thought would be
most likely to watch the
documentary may also be avid
readers of the ‘Radio Times’. We
used very similar conventions that
Radio Times use to publish there
magazine double page spreads. The
most common feature we followed
of the Radio Times, is the simplicity
of the layout as it is for a more
sophisticated reader who are
intelligent and are more concerned
with the words on the page rather
than the images and the range of
colours.
Visually appealing image, that instantly interests the reader into wanting
the read the article. It takes up a huge proportion of the double page
