2. Looking at the Prometheus film poster I decided to try and
emulate it’s film poster, I decided to go with an image that
took up the whole of the page and decided to have text
located at the bottom of the poster
3. After attempting to emulate the Prometheus film poster this is what the
1st draft of my film poster looked like, the problem I encountered is that
my audience thought that the poster was too simplistic and just looked
like an image with text on top of it so I decided to add more detail to my
film poster and have generally more information about the film.
4. After receiving feedback from my audience I added more to my film
poster. As you can see I’ve include credits for the film
5. For the final draft of my film poster I decided to include a
message, one that I feel as though my trailer gets my audience
thinking about
6. With the 3 drafts that I did for my film poster I decided to use the same three
colors which were present in my magazine front cover also, these colors were
red , green and white the reason for me choosing these colors is that I felt as
though they stood out meaning the information would easily catch the eye of
the reader and also so that the colors wouldn’t clash with the background or
the color of the main characters coat.
7. The reason why I decide to use this particular image is because it’s a
medium close it allows the audience to instantly realize that this is a main
character.I also decided to keep him in the same costume so that it once
again enforced the importance of this particular character.
