Let’s take a look at Tom.Tom has a lot of friends  connected to 1,200 friends on facebook (500 of whome go to college with him) He is in a fraternity and enjoys an avid social life (going out, mixing with sororities, playing FIFA with his buddies on late afternoons)But, what’s going on with Tom here – doesn’t look like the Tom I just described? It’s the middle of the week, Wednesday. Tom’s had a couple of classes in the morning and he decided lunch would be a good idea. But let me explain something about Tom: Like me, Tom believes in never eating alone. He’s a people person and enjoys company. So naturally, he wanted to grab a bite to eat with one of his friends.Goal: Meet up with a friend for a bite to eat.But today, like just about every other school day, Tom’s not sure who is available. Out of his 500 friends that go to college with him, which ones could be free? Who is to know and how is he to find out? Tom resorts to texting, calling, and fb messaging a few of his close friends that he usually gets lunch with (Brad, Angelina, and Kevin) Brad texts back that he is busy studying for a final. Kevin says on the phone that he is too far away. And Angelina doesn’t respond on fb.After 20 minutes of trying to figure this out after his calculus class, Tom (like anyone else), gets fed up and goes to the dining hall all on his lonesome. This is when we took the picture. What Tom doesn’t know yet, is that Angelina is about to message him back and say that she was free, she just wasn’t on facebook… Sad story for Tom, but a regular one._____________________________________________________________________________________________________________We are trying to tackle a large problem here, that doesn’t just effect Tom. It effects every college kid in America. The ProblemStudent’s not being able to socialize just because they don’t know which of their friends are available.
