2. They do the same things as the U.S. They
decorate their homes with lights and sing songs
with the family.
3. • The most popular food that family's eat
Kentucky fried chicken..yes KFC. They made
an advertisement saying that’s what western
people eat for Christmas dinner. The Fathers
pick up Christmas cake to bring to their
family's
4. Its almost the exact same as how we decorate in
the U.S. Just more Japanese
style of ornaments
5. They have people dress up as Santa at malls
like we do at the U.S. But their own version is a
Buddhist monk named Hotei-Osho. He sneaks
into children’s windows and leaves only one
present under their pillow.
6. Gift giving is the main one. But Japanese tend to be
treated as a valentine's day by teenagers. This time
of year is the best time for a man or woman to
confess their feelings towards someone. Also a best
time to go on a date due to the amazing lights they
put up.
7. Due to Japan having less than 1% being
Christian they do not practice any of the
religion behind Christmas. They only celebrate
it because it is a extremely fun holiday to
participate in.
8. They do have our songs translated to Japanese.
Also artists create and sing their own songs for
the holidays.
