1. 2nd Assistant Superintendent – Hyperion Field Club - Johnston, Iowa
Hyperion Field Club is currently accepting applications for 2nd Assistant
Superintendent. Hyperion Field Club is a private 18 hole facility located
just north of Des Moines, IA. The candidate will be responsible for
performing the functions required to assist the Golf Course
Superintendent to assure that the golf course and related areas are in
the best possible condition with the least amount of member
inconvenience. In addition, the candidate must have or be able to obtain
an Iowa Pesticide Applicators License within 60 days of employment.
Candidate reports to Golf Course Superintendent and/or Assistant Golf
Course Superintendent
Education: Two or four year degree in turfgrass management preferred.
Experience: Two years experience in golf course maintenance
Salary: Commensurate with experience
Duties:
Golf course maintenance
Training and supervision of employees
Application of pesticides and fertilizers
Irrigation maintenance and repairs
Flowers, trees and shrubbery
Clubhouse lawn
