3. FOR TILES AND STONES

least a row or 2 and see how it fits then mortar may be applied. Take note that when applying
mortar it is not on the slabs but the substrate then the slabs are laid on them (the mortar).
Once you have set your stone or slab in place, (that is, on the mortar between the slab and
substrate), your next stop will be applying the grout. Grout types vary and it is essential that
you have the right type of grout. Your ideal grout will be one that will blend with the slab
both color and texture wise.

then you may clean up your home and live on!
