INTRODUCTION

In view of the recent amendment made in the Patents Act, 1970 by the Patents (Amendment) Act, 2005
effective from 01st January 2005, the Official Journal of The Patent Office is required to be published under
the Statute. This Journal is being published on weekly basis on every Friday covering the various proceedings
on Patents as required according to the provision of Section 145 of the Patents Act 1970. All the enquiries on
this Official Journal and other information as required by the public should be addressed to the Controller
General of Patents, Designs & Trade Marks. Suggestions and comments are requested from all quarters so that
the content can be enriched.

Notice is hereby given that any person at any time before the grant of Patent may give representation by way of
opposition to the Controller of Patents at appropriate office on the ground and in a manner specified under
section 25(1) of the Patents (Amendment) Act, 2005 read with Rule 55 of the Patents (Amendment) Rules,
2006.
Notice is also given that if any interested person requests for copies of the complete specification, drawing and
abstract of any application already published, the photocopy of the same can be supplied by the Patent Office as
per the jurisdiction on payment of prescribed fees of Rs.4/- per page. If any further details are required to be
obtained, the same can be provided by the respective Patent Offices on request.

        Under the new provision of the Patents Act, 1970 as amended by the Patents (Amendment) Act, 2005
and Rules there under, Publication of the matter relating to Patents in the Official Gazette of India Part III,
Section 2 has been discontinued and instead The Official Journal of the Patent Office is being published
containing all the activities of The Patent Office such as publication of all the patent applications after 18th
months , grant of patents & all other information in respect of the proceedings as required under the provisions
of the Patents (Amendment) Act, 2005 and Rules thereunder on weekly basis on every Friday.


The Journal is uploaded in the website every Friday. So Paper form and CD-ROM form of the Journal are
discontinued from 01/01/2009.

Every effort is being taken to publish all the patent applications under section 11(A) of the Patents Act.

However, if duplication of publication of any application is found, then earlier date of publication will be taken

for the purpose of provisional protection for applicant and Patent Office will grant Patent not before six months

(57) Abstract :
The device of present invention is an angulated tubular structure(Total length 241mm, OD 12 mm ID 10 mm, angulation 140°), made
of medical grade stainless steel (No 316L), useful for visualization of pleura with a fiber optic bronchoscope. It has two parts, a patient
part and viewer part joined at an angle of 140°-. The viewer part(105mm) has a air tube attached at right angle indicating the tip of
patient part. Patient part -from the bevelled end to lower most window margin, There is window (36mm x 10mm. Non-traumatic
edges) at the angulation There a free detachable curved handle (total 175 lengthen Curvature and 170mm straight line ) and 12 mm
diameter) can be fixed with a Grip- 30 mm xl2 mm metal plate with incomplete ring of 12mm inner diameter and gap 7 mm. This
instrument can be used to facilitate passage of fiber optic bronchoscope in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures of pleuroscopy . A
suitable chest stoma is created in cases of indicate pleural diseases and the device is passed through. Then FOB is negotiated through
this device to visualize pleura. There are some specific precautions in the procedure which a beginner must be acquainted with.
Biopsies can be taken with the help of biopsy forceps. Therapeutic procedures are possible with this instrument e.g. retrieval of
foreign bodies, Pleurodesis, negotiation of chest tubes in cases of loculated empyema or pneuthorax. A chest drainage tube can be kept
for some time to drain fluid an air and subsequently removed with due precautions.

In any fluid handling system, the abrupt change in velocity creates water hammer shocks. These shocks are accompanied by
hammering noise at the closure of non return valves. Bladder vessels, air vessels with compressor etc are generally in use. These are
not able to contain water hammer pressures fully, and also to avoid hammering noise, due to incorrect position of connection to Rising
Main. Moreover these are expensive due to large sizes. Such equipments occupy large space requiring costly civil structure. Our
invention is about, identifying proper location for connecting , the Bladder vessels, and designing, an adjustable bypass line to
effectively control the water hammer pressure, Our invention is also about using Bladder vessel and Kinetic air valve, for reducing
substantially cost of equipment and civil structure

Motor A is connected to the Alternator B by means of Pulleys and Conveyor Belting. With the continuous operation of the Electric
Motor A the Alternator B will generates X plus power, maximum up to 2X which is transmitted to the Inverter C for storage and reuse
as and when required and particularly when regular electric supply from the local Grid is not available. This storage of Power in the
Inverter C can be used for multiple commercial and industrial applications through the Switches and the Distribution Board. The
enhancement of power through this Method can be suitably increased by altering the capacity of the Three Phase Electric Motor with
the aid and use of the matching Alternator and the Inverter of the suitable capacity to store the added power. This additional power
generation is the invention..

The power operated sugarcane seed scooping machine useful for extracting (scooping) the sugarcane seed from sugarcane is designed
and developed. The drive system consists of an electric motor, belt drive, and a worm gearbox. The output shaft of the gearbox has
cranks attached at each end. Each of the cranks is attached to a square reciprocating block. As the crank rotates, the block reciprocates
inside the slotted lever. The slotted lever is hinged to the support at one end and has two links hinged at the other end. These links are
connected to a slotted pipe which reciprocates up and down on the shaft fixed to the frame. The cutting stroke is faster than the return
stroke, thus giving sufficient time for the operator to feed the sugarcane for cutting next seed. During cutting operation, cutter slightly
enters into the groove in the base plate. When the sugarcane is placed properly the cutter removes the part of the sugarcane with seed,
leaving remaining portion intact. The machine thus employs quick return mechanism for economically and efficiently extracting the
sugarcane seed. Use of this machine saves about 85% of precious sugarcane which otherwise would have been wasted, saves precious
time in the process of sugarcane cultivation, increases yield and does away with the uncertainties associated with seed germination.

the mixture has a first viscosity that allows the conductive particles to rearrange within the layer. An electric field is applied over the
layer, so that a number of the conductive particles are aligned with the field and thereafter the viscosity of the layer is changed to a
second, higher viscosity, in order to mechanically stabilise the layer. This leads to a stable layer with en¬hanced and anisotropic

SPECIAL NOTICE Under the new provision of the Patents Act, 1970 as amended by the Patents (Amendment) Act, 2005 and Rules there under, Publication of the matter relating to Patents in the Official Gazette of India Part III, Section 2 has been discontinued and instead The Official Journal of the Patent Office is being published containing all the activities of The Patent Office such as publication of all the patent applications after 18th months , grant of patents & all other information in respect of the proceedings as required under the provisions of the Patents (Amendment) Act, 2005 and Rules thereunder on weekly basis on every Friday. The Journal is uploaded in the website every Friday. So Paper form and CD-ROM form of the Journal are discontinued from 01/01/2009. SPECIAL NOTICE Every effort is being taken to publish all the patent applications under section 11(A) of the Patents Act. However, if duplication of publication of any application is found, then earlier date of publication will be taken for the purpose of provisional protection for applicant and Patent Office will grant Patent not before six months from the date of second publication, provided that there is there is no third party representation. This instrument can be used to facilitate passage of fiber optic bronchoscope in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures of pleuroscopy . A suitable chest stoma is created in cases of indicate pleural diseases and the device is passed through. Then FOB is negotiated through this device to visualize pleura. There are some specific precautions in the procedure which a beginner must be acquainted with. Biopsies can be taken with the help of biopsy forceps. Therapeutic procedures are possible with this instrument e.g. retrieval of foreign bodies, Pleurodesis, negotiation of chest tubes in cases of loculated empyema or pneuthorax. The drive system consists of an electric motor, belt drive, and a worm gearbox. The output shaft of the gearbox has cranks attached at each end. Each of the cranks is attached to a square reciprocating block. As the crank rotates, the block reciprocates inside the slotted lever. The slotted lever is hinged to the support at one end and has two links hinged at the other end. These links are connected to a slotted pipe which reciprocates up and down on the shaft fixed to the frame. The cutting stroke is faster than the return stroke, thus giving sufficient time for the operator to feed the sugarcane for cutting next seed. During cutting operation, cutter slightly enters into the groove in the base plate. When the sugarcane is placed properly the cutter removes the part of the sugarcane with seed, leaving remaining portion intact. The machine thus employs quick return mechanism for economically and efficiently extracting the sugarcane seed. Use of this machine saves about 85% of precious sugarcane which otherwise would have been wasted, saves precious time in the process of sugarcane cultivation, increases yield and does away with the uncertainties associated with seed germination.
