New Program in 2008 -2009 •  Chinese Bridge Delegation Trip •  Two Hanban guest teachers  offer instruction  •  Teaching assignment Grades 1 and 2  5 days a week for 30 minutes Level Ⅰ, Middle and High School 5 days a week for  50 minutes
Expanded Program in 2009-2010  • Expand Chinese program into two Primary Schools, two Middle Schools and High School •  Two guest teachers and one local Chinese teacher offer instruction •  Teaching assignment:  Grades 1 and 2, 5 days a week for 20 minutes Grades 3 and 4, 5 days  a week for 30 minutes Level Ⅰ,ⅡHigh School, 5 days a week for 50 minutes Level Ⅰ, Middle School, 5 days a week for 50 minutes Grade 7, 5 days a week for 50 minutes for one quarter
District Support •  New teacher orientation •  In-service training •  Foreign language department quarterly meeting •  Support team: Administrators, teachers and parents World language chair as head mentor Mentor teachers in each school
Cultural support •  A local Chinese teacher as a cultural mentor •  Support from principals •  Teachers  and American parents regularly take GT  to experience the life in US Living support •  A furnished apartment shared by two guest teachers •  The district provides the transportation to school
