It doesn’t matter whether you are studying English, Chinese,
Spanish or French: in the future you will always be able to
find the right words, chat with your friends, advance your
career or study successfully. Choose the language you need
to help you express yourself, understand others and most
importantly, be understood. Find your language and keep
discovering new areas, because to find your language means
to find your way.Which language would you like to learn?

              Where the world meets
To study at a Eurocentres school means meeting, learning from, spending one’s leisure time and communi-
cating with people from over 90 countries. Asian, European, Latin American and Middle Eastern students
each account for a quarter of our students. The exact proportion may vary from school to school and
from season to season. You can find the breakdown of students per school on the relevant country page.

The best for your future

Learning a language is a major investment in your future.
Eurocentres therefore takes great care in selecting your
teachers and host family and uses innovative, personalised
teaching methods. Quality is of paramount importance to
us. We therefore obtain accreditation for our schools from
well-known quality organisations and we are proud that
Eurocentres schools are always awarded excellent results in
                    external quality inspections.

                    Convincing learning progress
Learning styles and interests differ from one course participant to the next. Eurocentres therefore attaches
great importance to assessing your initial language skills and goals. We will discuss these with you prior to
booking, on arrival at the school and during the course, and they form the basis of your personal self-study
plan and allocation to a particular class. During your stay, your teacher will meet with you regularly to discuss
your learning progress to ensure that you achieve your learning goals quickly and confidently.

    Eurocentres Success System

                The innovative EUROCENTRES SUCCESS SYSTEM*
has been developed over the last 60 years. Eurocentres
is the leader in the field of foreign language tuition and is
frequently consulted by the Council of Europe in matters
relating to this area. Eurocentres focuses at all times on
language learning success. Our longstanding experience
has shown that the greatest learning progress is made when
students are individually supported and are aware of their
strengths and weaknesses at all times. In today’s heavily

                   and Ireland

Not only are Great Britain and Ireland
the home of the English language—
the land of Shakespeare, Joyce, Dickens
and Wilde—but they are also the
source of many contemporary cultural
trends. Universities with a rich tradi-
tion offer the most up-to-date educa-

language schools to open their doors
in the British Isles more than 60 years
ago. Consequently the schools are all
in prime locations.

  • 6. Welcome Find your Language It doesn’t matter whether you are studying English, Chinese, Spanish or French: in the future you will always be able to find the right words, chat with your friends, advance your career or study successfully. Choose the language you need to help you express yourself, understand others and most importantly, be understood. Find your language and keep discovering new areas, because to find your language means to find your way.Which language would you like to learn? Where the world meets To study at a Eurocentres school means meeting, learning from, spending one’s leisure time and communi- cating with people from over 90 countries. Asian, European, Latin American and Middle Eastern students each account for a quarter of our students. The exact proportion may vary from school to school and from season to season. You can find the breakdown of students per school on the relevant country page. 4 In class by Gerardo Aguilar
  • 7. The best for your future Learning a language is a major investment in your future. Eurocentres therefore takes great care in selecting your teachers and host family and uses innovative, personalised teaching methods. Quality is of paramount importance to us. We therefore obtain accreditation for our schools from well-known quality organisations and we are proud that Eurocentres schools are always awarded excellent results in external quality inspections. Convincing learning progress Learning styles and interests differ from one course participant to the next. Eurocentres therefore attaches great importance to assessing your initial language skills and goals. We will discuss these with you prior to booking, on arrival at the school and during the course, and they form the basis of your personal self-study plan and allocation to a particular class. During your stay, your teacher will meet with you regularly to discuss your learning progress to ensure that you achieve your learning goals quickly and confidently. Eurocentres Foundation and the Migros Cultural Percentage The Eurocentres Foundation has provided foreign language tuition of the highest quality for over 60 years. The Foundation aims to promote understanding between people and bridge national, cultural and social barriers. The Foundation is an institution of the Migros Cultural Percentage, as voluntary commitment of Migros embedded in its articles of association that demonstrates its responsibility towards society. www.kulturprozent.ch Studying German by Orianne Zanone Eurocentres’ Role in Global Language Teaching The Swiss Foundation has enjoyed consultative status with the Council of Europe for language learning since 1968, and has played a crucial role in the development of the Common European Framework of Reference for language teaching and learning. 5
