This document analyzes and compares 10 social networks for physicians based on users, visits, time spent on site, member demographics, and effectiveness. It finds that only 4 sites - M3.com, Sermo.com, Doctors.net.uk, and DoktorNaRabote.ru - meet the key criteria of having a significant number of engaged physician users, transparent operations, and clear client focus to be effective communication channels. The other 6 sites are less effective due to having too few physicians, low engagement, or lack of transparency and client information.

13. Conclusions
Only four of ten physicians communities meet the key criteria for effective
communications with Physicians:
Significant number of physicians with higher medical education, who often visit
the site and involved in it’s life.
Transparent company, international standards consideration.
Clear products and client offers, open cases and analytics.
