Application Tile: when a user pins an application to Start
Secondary Tile: created only as the result of user input in an application.
• ShellTile APIs
• Tile are 173*173 pixels. You could load images locally or remotely
• Restrictions: size < 80KB, loading time < 30s
• Tile Properties could be updated by using Microsoft Push Notification Service
• ShellTileSchedule APIs
• Update the tile on a recurring schedule, even if your application is not running
