2. Perspective is a technique for representing
three-dimensional space on a flat surface.
Linear perspective is based on the way the human
eye sees the world:
• objects which are closer appear larger
• more distant objects appear smaller.
Linear perspective allows you to see depth on a
flat surface.

perspective drawing, we establish a
vanishing point on the horizon line.
Objects are drawn using orthogonal
lines which lead to the vanishing point.

In one-point perspective, the forms are seen face
on and are drawn to a single vanishing point.

In two-point perspective, the objects are seen at
an angle, and are drawn to two vanishing points.
