It’s designed for blogs out-of-the-box, but its engineered on a content management framework.
Shopp is built on this premise. It has out-of-the-box features, but these features they’re designed to be completely extended, customized and in some cases even replaced.
Develops videos and imagery for churches to use during worship services

XHTML markup and stylesheets with Shopp template files and template tags
Shopp can support 3 account modes: No accounts, Shopp-only logins, WordPress-integrated
A custom signup process for WordPress+Shopp accounts

In the 1st year of using Shopp compared to ZenCart

these sites would not be possible.
