In 2001 NEERI collected water samples from Clean Water Reservoirs of Jaipur. Testing of physio-chemicals parameters was done. The water samples were found to high concentration of TDS, hardness, alkalinity, Calcium and Magnesium . 2. In 2001, NEERI collected water samples from 25 Clean Water
Reservoirs of the city.
Samples were collected for few days in three seasons ( summer,
winter, monsoon).
Testing of physio- chemical parameters as mentioned in BIS:10500
were carried out.
No bacteriological parameter was tested at CWR level.

3. The samples were found to have high concentration of TDS,
hardness, alkalinity, Ca and Mg.
In the subsequent slides graphs of the average levels of the above
mentioned parameters are shown.
The red line indicates the maximum limit of the parameters as given
in BIS:10500 drinking water standards.
