• We targeted our primary audience, males aged 18-
25, firstly through our chosen actress.
• As our actress, Flora, was attractive, blonde which
gives her an overall, very sexy vibe.
• When asked, men in this age group said that they
would be more likely to watch a film starring a
character with these characteristics.
GENDER
• She is tall, slender and has a lot of sex appeal which is perfect for attracting our
target audience as this is the type of character who, more commonly than not,
appears in this type of film.
Our film taps into the voyeurism that our society has
adapted which didn’t exist 15 years ago. Due to the rise
of social media sites such as Facebook and Instagram,
this generation has developed an infatuation with
watching other peoples lives. This stalker like, unnatural
way of life has lead to more explicit and dangerous
activities such as sexting and online/virtual stalking,
which can cause people real harm outside of the virtual
universe, in which these things reside, and into the real
world.
TECHNOLOGY
Examples of this are The Sun’s telephone hacking scandal which has spanned over the last decade.
Human beings have now evolved an obsession with looking into other peoples lives. This addresses our
target audience as some older generations may not truly understand or relate to as they did not have this
influencing their society, unlike todays generation who see this person being watched in the same way
that they watch each other through the use of social media which, to them makes it feel more realistic,
as though it could and may be happening to them or a person that they know.
As our audience is primarily males and females aged 18-25, this is much more
important and influential as this film is a psychological thriller encouraging the
audience to think and investigate the situations for themselves.
AGE GROUP
The way that our video has been cut together is also very influential over the age
group towards which our film is targeted. As the cuts are quite fast, changing
angles very often, making it much more fast pace and
