2. NDS is one of the most popular handheld game
console. It can not only play games but also
play video and listen to music. But watching
video on NDS is a bit complex. NDS only
supports dog video format and you must use a
tool called Moonshell to do this. So I write this
guide to tell you how to play video on NDS.
Hope it be helpful.
3. If you want TO listen to music, view picture or play
video, then you need the Moonshell. It’s a homebrew
multimedia player running on Sony PSP, PS Vita and
the Nintendo DS. To get the latest Moonshell, please
click here to download. It’s an exe file and you need
to run it in the next step.
4. Run Moonshell and exact it to any folder. They find
the folder “moonshl2” and the file “moonshl2.nds” to
the MicroSD card(you need insert the SD card to a
card reader and connect it to computer).
5.
6. The NDS only support the dpg video format. So we
need a video converter. Here I recommend the
imElfin Video Converter. Click here to download it
and then set output options as the pictures show.
7.
8. Create a folder called “Videos” at the root directory
of the MicroSD card. Then copy the videos to this
folder. If you want to put music or image files to
NDS, please create the Music and Photos folder. After
copying. Reject the MicroSD card from computer and
insert it to the Flashcart.
9. Reboot your NDS and go to Flashcart’s main menu.
Choose the moonshl2.nds file and run it. Then your
NDS will become a real multimedia player and you
can play the videos freely.
