Rohan Arora is an accessory designer who presented his collection at Lakme Fashion Week in Mumbai. His designs take inspiration from the colors of Indian streets and always have a quirky element. His first collection featured designs with images and phrases from Hindi movie posters printed on shoes. He uses unique materials like corduroy, leather and wood to make attractive and expressive shoe designs.

3. Present Status Accessory designer rohan arora has presented his collection in mumbai’s lakme fashion week in hotel Grand Hyatt. His collection is inspired from the colours of street s of India. His designs would always have quirky quotient. His first collection was into Hindi movie posters which was so very colourful like the posters we see on streets.

4. Signature Style Quirkiness, bright colours and a hint of humor in it definitely. His shoes are very unique...something hard to find elsewhere. He use lot of corduroy, cotton, calf leather, chicken leg leather, special wood etc. The designs are such that he make it very attractive and also expressive. The real craft of his shoes is the wooden base.

5. Innovative Ideas He likes changing his collection completely like in 'Hindi movie poster' collection. he had dialogue of movies written on the shoes. In one design he showed Veeru tied-up and Basanti dancing where it was written 'jab tak tere pair chalenge is ki saans chalegi'. Whereas in another collection he had Hindi phrases written, like 'jahan caah wahan raah'.

6. Future Plans He plan to open a special store which will also have a lounge where people can chill out after shopping.

7. Work Rohan Arora's footwear designs and his collection “Naya Daur” presented a line of hand made shoes in fabrics that ranged from hand painted khadi to leather.. There was a touch of Bollywood with Hindi film posters painted on them. The fabric mixes along with screen and block prints gave an unusual touch to the footwear.

9. Lakme Fashion Week Models walk on the ramp on 5th day for rohan arora. They all wear a long kurta with black and white strips. Various collection of shoes were presented. All were looking stylish, trendy yet comfortable.
